Best Practices in IT Service Management 2007 - Portugal/ first edition

With proud bITa Center – the independent international knowledge hub for Business IT Alignment issues – presents its first edition of the best practices in IT Service Management Portugal 2007. This event should be the start of a vision and strategy event for senior IT management.
2007 shows a number of new topics important for many (IT) organizations in Portugal and elsewhere. Last year bITa Center launched this conference very successfully in Spain. To quote Mr. Juan Soto (ex CEO HP France/Spain): "It is very important that this conference comes to Spain, we need to focus on international best practices…". With more than 200 participants this year of which over 50% of senior level (CIO, CEO, IT management, IT auditors, etc), we are sure that the Portuguese conference will show this growing interest in the field of expertise.

A growing number of organisations have recognised that ITIL and other Best Practice Frameworks are more and more the key to IT management and for a number of business processes. To learn quickly the adoption of international best practices can be pivotal to many IT dependent organisations like banks, insurance companies, governmental organisations, industry, health sector, etc.

This is why bITa center introduces its first conference which targets a high level audience and will feature both national and international speakers. The conference will have a similar setup as the successful Dutch and Spanish edition. It will feature a 3 track programme with top keynotes. Extra focus on the CIO Agenda 2007/2008. Top CIO´s from large organisations in Portugal will discuss in a plenary roundtable the CIO agenda, share views and unveil their visions.

We will extend the conference with a pre-conference program the day before. It goes without saying that you can mix & mingle and rub shoulders on the exhibition that will be open during the whole day.This conference is a must go for everyone that is responsible for IT management issues.
